In view of mothers day, men and women all have different needs and are created to compliment each other. The bible says a wise woman builds her home and like wise a wise man also understands the needs of his wife and is afffectionate towards her. Affection is taking the iniative, understanding the little things that make the difference, being really sensitive to the bits and bobs that bring the sparkle in the home. Speaking with a friend yesterday, she says "marriages are made in heaven, and theres also thunder and lightning in heaven". A successful marriage is one that is not just founded in Christ, but one in which the two parties play their role because they are determined to make it work. But if one person does the depositing and the other does the withdrawal, the red light is automatically switched on. May our homes truly be a place of rest.
